Were you put in the care of the Ontario government as a result of abuse or neglect? Were you abused or neglected while you were a child in the care of the Ontario government? Did the government do nothing to help you make a claim for money?

If the answer is yes, you are entitled to the justice you didn’t receive as a child. You are a Crown ward survivor and we want to help you.

An important new lawsuit has been filed against the government of Ontario for failing to protect the legal rights and claims of children who were under the province’s care, beginning in 1966.

Co-lead counsel Sandy Zaitzeff of Watkins Law Corporation of Thunder Bay – together with Jonathan Ptak of Koskie Minsky LLP of Toronto – filed the lawsuit in Thunder Bay on January 28, 2014.
